10 January 2006: HRM city councillors have voted 16 to 7 in favor of not approving developer's proposed amendment to the Municipal Planning Strategy for Datmouth. More in depth information can be found in the "Current News" section at the left of this screen.

04 October 2005: Brightwood Golf & Country Club voted to vacate the Brightwood land. More in depth information can be found in the "Breaking News!" section at the left of this screen.

18 June 2005: Public meeting held at the Dartmouth Sportsplex with excellent turnout and media interest.

11 June 2005: Distribution of an informative flyer to local residents of Crichton Park, central Dartmouth, and wider areas that had not been covered by earlier mail drops.

5 March 2005: A successful public meeting was held from 10:00 am to 12:00 on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 216 School St, Dartmouth.

20 Oct 2004: Brightwood has choosen a developer, Clayton Developments Ltd, to lead the development for the Brightwood lands. More in depth information can be found at the Brightwood website http://www.brightwood.ns.ca/newsoct.htm.

11 Mar 2004: A public meeting was held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with approximately 65 persons attending, including Daily News, Chronicle Herald and CBC radio reporters, and two local politicians.
